ARE YOU CURIOUS TO KNOW THE SOURCE OF YOGA?
Over fifteen thousand years ago, in the upper reaches of the Himalayas a being appeared. He was unlike anyone and was known as the Adi yogi – or the first yogi. All the people gathered around him, expecting some miracle to happen, however had to leave as they couldn’t resist the tremendous energy radiating from him. However there were 7 men who withstood that energy.
Later on these seven seekers became Adi yogi’s first disciples which renowned him as Adi Guru – the first Guru. An entire exploration of the mechanics of life unfolded from him, the seed of liberation was planted in the human consciousness. His studies declared for the first time in human history that destiny is in one’s own hands and it is possible for a human being to evolve consciously.
This insight gave birth to a science, a science that aimed at making human beings the rulers of their own fate, the architects of their own destiny. The journey was about exploration – a fearless exploration of the profoundest depths of human consciousness. The ultimate aim was not god. The ultimate aim was liberation.
Adi yogi transmitted to the seven disciples the fundamentals of the science called Yoga – union – a science of radical self-transformation. A science that continues to empower human beings to blossom to their ultimate potential.
And that freedom, Adi yogi declared, is within the reach of every human being.
